A driver for a New York City black car base was recently hit with a $3,900 fine for completing a point-to-point trip in Westchester County, according to an email from Black Car Assistance Corporation president, Diana Clemente. The base also received a $3,900 fine, even though Uber dispatched the trip.

“It has become clear that enforcement on this issue is up and that Westchester TLC is back with a vengeance,” Clemente noted. “Please remember that NYC TLC licensed drivers CANNOT accept or complete point-to-point trips in Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk counties.”
