The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is seeking help identifying two suspects who allegedly robbed a 49-year-old male for-hire vehicle (FHV) driver, outside 6211 Broadway. The incident occurred on July 12 at around 11:32pm. The victim was driving a 2018 blue Hyundai Sonata when one of the assailants brandished a knife and took $60 from him. The suspects were last seen heading northbound on Broadway on foot. The driver was unhurt.
The first suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion, aged between 20 to 35, approximately 5’11” tall with a heavy build and tattoos on his right arm. He was last seen wearing a dark baseball cap, black t-shirt, blue shorts, and black and white sneakers. The second suspect is a male with a dark complexion and a slim build, last seen wearing all black. The NYPD asks anyone with information related to the case to come forward and help identify the two suspects.
