A man tried to run from three suspects accused of stealing his watch on West 37th Street in Manhattan on Aug. 9, at around 5:15pm, according to the NYPD. The 46-year-old victim was approached by the suspects, who allegedly asked him for his Cartier Santos wristwatch. Police said the victim tried to run from the suspects in a taxi, but he was pursued on foot. The group allegedly pulled up to the taxi with a gun and stole the watch. The suspects fled the scene, and no injuries were reported.
