We are sad to announce that Michael “Mike” Gay, co-Founder of Plaza Limousine and long-time Board Member for the New England Livery Association (NELA), died peacefully at his home, surrounded by family after a long period of declining health, on December 23, 2023, at age 69.

Mike co-founded Plaza Limousine in the early ‘80s and grew it into a successful business. He served as a board member for the NELA for many years, during which he became a well-known and respected member of the industry.

According to his obituary, “Mike loved to laugh and was happiest when vacationing with family and friends at Rangeley Lake in Maine. Mike was known for his kindness and sense of humor, always brightening the lives of those around him. He loved his family, cars and his dog and best friend, Milo. His presence will surely be missed by so many.”
