“This brings the total approved Toyota Sienna Hybrid accessible conversions to five, giving the medallion and FHV industry more options for this popular model,” noted the TLC. “Additionally, 21 unique conversions of eight vehicle models on the list have undergone stringent TLC inspections, crash, and emissions testing, reviews of the ADA and federal motor vehicles safety standards, to ensure its safety and reliability prior to approval.”
Currently, six companies are authorized to perform these vehicle modifications.
