Last month, TLC Chair/Commissioner David Do revealed there were roughly 3,500 FHV licenses (or TLC plates) still in storage at the end of July, just a month before the pandemic era agency’s FHV Storage Program was set to end on August 31. According to AutoMarketplace NYC, “This figure implies about 1,200 TLC Plates have been pulled out of storage since last summer, when the TLC disclosed there were 4,724 FHV Licenses in storage.”
