The Limousine Association of New Jersey (LANJ) has announced the recipients of the Barbara J. Chirico Scholarships for 2024. They are:

  • Academic Excellence Scholarship ($2,500): Tiffany Maziarz
  • Academic Excellence Scholarship ($2,500): Lia Trenery
  • Community Service Scholarship ($1,000): Kayla Wilhalme
  • Leadership Scholarship ($500): Lourdes Roman

The Scholarship Program was established in the memory of Chirico, founder of Gem Worldwide Ground Transportation, past president of the National Limousine Association, and longtime LANJ member and officer, who passed away in Jan. 2024.

The Barbara J. Chirico Scholarship Program was established this year for the children of current LANJ member families, including owner and employee families. The company affiliations of this year’s recipients are: Arrive in Style (Maziarz), Gem Worldwide Ground Transportation (Trenery), and My Limousine Service (Wilhalme and Roman).

Scholarship funds are paid directly to the scholarship recipient’s educational institution and continue to be eligible for four years of college terms if they maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2 each year. Recipients are capped to four years of awards.
