The New York Black Car Fund (BCF) added valuable new features this fall to the long list of benefits they provide to their covered drivers: Free audiological exams, deeply discounted hearing aids and dramatically improved telemedicine services.

Through TruHearing, BCF members can now quickly access free audiological exams and follow-up visits from a convenient network of more than 8,850 provider locations, with remote care and telehealth services available, as well as top quality hearing aids at significantly discounted prices (plus free batteries). The company has served over 160 million people, with healthcare solutions flexible enough to match the unique needs of any industry.

The BCF also recently partnered with CirrusMD to provide 24/7 virtual primary care to its eligible drivers at no cost to them – ensuring high-quality, physician-first, on-demand healthcare. Drivers can now connect with a licensed, credentialed physician via secure chat in under 60 seconds, regardless of their location.

“Partnering with CirrusMD underscores our commitment to providing critical health-related benefits to our Covered Drivers,” explains Ira Goldstein, the BCF’s Executive Director. “[Our drivers now] have immediate access to a qualified doctor, whether they need primary care, urgent care, or support for chronic conditions and mental health.”

CirrusMD allows drivers to access healthcare, without traditional barriers like cost, extended wait times for appointments or having to take time off of work. Drivers can simply and securely chat with a doctor anytime, from anywhere in the US. For more information, visit www.nybcf.org or https://ny.driversbenefits.org.
