The Transportation Alliance (TTA) elected Dan Reid as its new president, calling him “a seasoned leader with decades of experience in business and the transportation industry, who brings a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the sector, as well as a bold vision for its future.” Mr. Reid is president of Grove Transit in Mississippi and Go Ride in Louisiana.

According to the TTA: “As a small business owner, Dan has dedicated himself to serving his community by ensuring that everyone has access to affordable, high-quality transportation. His commitment to creating solutions that meet the needs of underserved populations – especially in areas like Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) and microtransit – has earned him the respect of both industry peers and community members alike.”

As president of TTA, Reid said he aims to work closely with industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to build a transportation system that is not only efficient but also equitable and sustainable for all. “We are in a pivotal moment for the transportation industry,” he added. “With the availability of new technologies and service models, my goal is to ensure that every community – large or small – has access to innovative and affordable transportation solutions.”

Reid follows immediate past president Bill Yuhnke, known for navigating significant changes in the industry, and achieving key wins in federal policy and market expansion.
