A 90-year-old woman was fatally struck by two cars as she crossed an Upper East Side street on the evening of Feb. 5, police said. Frances Rickard was crossing at York Avenue and East 72nd Street around 5:40pm when a 68-year-old cab driver made a U-turn and hit her, authorities said. Moments later, a 35-year-old woman in a 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer also rammed into her. The senior, who lived on the Upper West Side, was rushed to Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries, police said. Both drivers stayed at the scene and have not been charged in connection to the deadly collision, cops said.
