A non-profit called Living Resources has established a scholarship to honor the memory of AmandaRivenburg, an employee who was one of 20 people killed in the horrific 2018 Schoharie limo crash. The Amanda R. Rivenburg Memorial Scholarship Fund was created with an investment from Amanda’s father, Thomas Rivenburg, matched by the Living Resources Foundation.
The Scholarship Fund is currently offering three annual scholarships of $500, $1,000 and $2,500 to Living Resources staff members pursuing Associate’s, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degrees. Applications will be available each June. Living Resources, which works to support and empower those with disabilities or other life-challenging conditions, said preference will be given to students pursuing a degree in Social Work or a related field.
