Revel announced it has inked a deal in East Elmhurst to develop the nation’s largest airport EV fast charging station, adjacent to LaGuardia Airport (LGA). The station is slated to go up at 90-10 Ditmars Blvd., where the Courtyard by Marriott LaGuardia hotel is located, and will feature 48 200kW charging stalls that will be available to the public. The stations will be accessible from Ditmars Boulevard and 90th Street and are expected to be operational in the first half of 2025.

This site is located near the airport’s for-hire vehicle waiting area, making it particularly beneficial for app-hail drivers transitioning to electric vehicles (EVs) under the city’s Green Rides Initiative.

“Revel’s LGA site, which will be the single largest public fast charging station by any airport in the country, will allow thousands more drivers to electrify,” said Revel CEO & Co-Founder, Frank Reig. Revel currently operates three NYC fast-charging stations – two in Brooklyn, one in Long Island City.
