The New York Black Car Fund (BCF) is introducing its new Health Navigation Program this month, in conjunction with ModernMD and Doral Health & Wellness. According to the BCF: “Navigating the U.S. healthcare system can be confusing – especially if you’re new to the country or unfamiliar with how insurance works. This new program is designed to guide drivers through every step of accessing care. Health insurance gives you coverage, but it doesn’t tell you how to use it. Health Navigation helps you.”
The BCF’s dedicated support team helps guide covered drivers in using their health insurance, complete a preliminary checkup, connect with primary care and coordinate any follow-up care they need. IMPORTANT: This benefit is only available to drivers enrolled in Drivers Benefits who live in the NYC-adjacent area, as in-person visits are required. They must also have their own health insurance.
