In a memo to its members in December, the Black Car Assistance Corporation (BCAC) announced that the passenger pick-up changes for for-hire vehicles (FHVs) at JFK Airport’s Terminal 4 – which have been in effect since the Spring – will be coming to an end. Beginning at 2:00am on Dec. 30, all pick-ups at Terminal 4 will return to their normal positions at the terminal frontage.

“The pick-up changes for FHVs in place for Terminals 5 and 7 will remain in effect. There is no timeline yet for when they will end,” the BCAC said. “JFK also announced that beginning on Tuesday, January 6th, a new permanent roadway configuration will be in place for drivers from Long Island and points east, heading to Terminals 1 and 4. Vehicles entering the airport via the JFK Expressway will be directed to the Van Wyck Expressway for access to Terminals 1 and 4.”
