As of June 6, New York City Taxi & Limousine Commission (TLC) licensees can settle TLC summonses at the TLC’s Long Island City office (31-00 47th Avenue, 3rd Floor), and get a ticket to meet with the Settlements Unit. Licensees can request a settlement offer by e-mailing settlements@tlc.nyc.gov.. The email should include a TLC license number and summons number(s). Attaching a photo of a TLC or DMV Driver’s License should help expedite the process, according to TLC.
Once a request is made, a representative will follow up and may send an offer, which licensees should accept or decline by responding at their earliest convenience.
Licensees can continue to come in person to the Long Island City office to request a settlement, between 8:00am and 1:00pm, Monday through Friday.
