As of Nov 29, the payment of round-trip tolls was changed, according to the New York City Taxi & Limousines Commission.

A passenger must pay all tolls incurred during a trip, except for when coming from:

  • Rockaway Peninsula going over the Cross Bay Veterans Memorial Bridge into Queens
  • Rockaway Peninsula going over the Marine Parkway – Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge into Brooklyn
  • Staten Island over the Verrazzano Narrows Bridge into Brooklyn

A passenger must pay the toll two times (2x) incurred during a trip when coming from:

  • Queens going over the Cross Bay Veterans Memorial Bridge into Rockaway Peninsula
  • Brooklyn going over the Marine Parkway – Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge into Rockaway Peninsula
  • Brooklyn going over the Verrazzano Narrows Bridge into Staten Island.
