Forbes Advisor analyzed five years of data (2016-2020) from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and found that the most dangerous hour to drive in the US, on average, is 6:00pm to 7:00pm on a Saturday in October. The data showed the most dangerous time in New York state was Saturday, between 5:00pm and 6:00. Same goes for Ohio, Massachusetts, Nevada and Georgia.
