A new study seeking to identify which job sectors have the most to gain from ending Daylight saving time identified the transportation and utility industries as the top beneficiaries. Venture Smarter released the data, analyzed from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics regarding Daylight savings time, which ends Nov. 5.
“To make the transition smoother, night shift workers may wish to invest in blackout blinds to avoid daylight during their sleep hours,” said the study. “Trying to follow a consistent sleep schedule – wherever possible – is also recommended.”
