Skyline Credit Ride has moved to a new location: 3702 48th Ave. in Long Island City (on the corner of 37th Street and 48th Ave.), the most recent step the company has taken to streamline operations, after joining the Executive Transportation Group (ETG) Consortium last year.

By consolidating operations with the ETG Consortium, the company has been able to weather the pandemic, and has been seeing month-to-month growth since the early part of 2021. Now that business has started to bounce back and the city is opening up, Skyline President, George Potter says his company is offering financial incentives to bring in more drivers.

“We’ve seen a steady increase in trips these past few months, and expect to see a dramatic spike this summer, once everything fully opens,” notes Mr. Potter. “We’re feeling optimistic as more work keeps coming in. We just want to bring more drivers onboard, so we accommodate it.”

Potter admits some drivers may still be concerned about Covid-19 but points out that his company recently purchased sanitizing stations that the drivers can use, at their convenience. The company also covers the cost to install partitions in drivers’ cars, if they want one, and Skyline supplies all drivers with masks and hand sanitizer to help them stay safe and healthy.
