In November, Governor Hochul appointed Norman Shreve, District 15 Directing Business Representative for Local 447, to the Board of The Black Car Fund Board. Reportedly chosen on the advice of Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie, Shreve held the position of shop steward and recording secretary for Local 447, before assuming the role of Business Representative in 2008. He runs the Buffalo, NY office, servicing upstate NY and the Midwest.
