Ron-V

Ronald Velocci, an industry veteran who started in the black car industry as a salesman back in 1984, was chosen to serve as Vice President for NY Black Car and Elite Limousine this past September. His main responsibilities will be focused on revenue growth and client acquisitions, but he is also assisting in bringing more bases onto the company’s smartphone app/back-office software platform, which was developed by a division of the company called Soundview Technologies.

The app/back-office program is now available to the industry at large, for bases that want to work together to offer their clients access to a larger fleet of vehicles, along with a wider range of services, to give them “power in numbers” in this highly competitive market.

“I have known Ron for 30 years; it’s my pleasure to be working with him again,” said Amnon Oberlander, Franchise Relations Manager for NY Black Car. “He is an extremely knowledgeable industry veteran with a legacy of success. I often consult with him for advice… he has a natural ability to always bring different types of business to the company.”

Mr. Velocci brings with him a significant sales and operations background, and as someone who previously served as CEO of his own base, his skills extend into all areas of operations.

“My decades in the industry have taught me to keep ahead of the curve, by embracing technology, keeping a razor-sharp focus on customer needs and leveraging opportunities in the industry’s ever-evolving market,” says Mr. Velocci. “I’ve serviced many Fortune 500 accounts, managed a $20 million budget, accelerated market share to over 57%, secured over $83 million in recurring revenue annually and generated over $1 billion in career sales… but most importantly, my clients hire me to make their lives easier. As busy executives, they’ve got a lot on the line, so trusting that our car service is highly-skilled and professional is of the utmost importance.”
