Windels Marx announced in July that Benjamin Fink is joining the firm’s Transportation Practice Group.

“We are excited to have Ben Fink join our transportation team,” said Matthew Daus, Transportation Practice Chair & Partner. “Ben knows our firm’s quality of work and professionalism well, as a former client who decided to join us to help bring our corporate law service levels to the next level. Ben’s former in-house transportation experience will enable him to effectively assist our clients with corporate governance, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, finance/lending (including medallion financing, refinancing, foreclosures, and workouts), commercial litigation, insurance law issues, and a wide variety of contractual and transactional matters.”

Prior to joining Windels Marx, Mr. Fink was General Counsel to a group of companies engaged in all aspects of the New York City taxicab and for-hire vehicle industry. Through leading a series of successful transactions and litigation, he helped companies restructure and pivot to a growth trajectory in this highly competitive market. His daily responsibilities include taxicab medallion transfers, preparing financing, refinancing, and tailored loan documents, advising start-up and traditional transportation companies with general corporate matters, and interacting with government agencies overseeing the mobility sector.
