A New York City for-hire vehicle (FHV) driver was robbed at knifepoint in the Bronx at about 8:30am on Sept. 4. According to police, the driver, a 63-year-old man, was sitting in his vehicle when an unknown subject approached with a knife, demanding money. The driver complied, and the suspect fled the scene with $87.

The robbery took place at Rev James A Polite Avenue near E 165th Street in Foxhurst. Anyone with information regarding this incident should call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
