A for-hire vehicle driver was left in critical condition, after police said he was shot on the night of June 20. NYPD officials said the 52-year-old man was inside a black 2019 Mercedes Benz around 10:00pm when he was shot in the face in front of 320 Lincoln Place in Prospect Heights – near Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Museum.
First responders took the victim to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, and police said his injuries were significant. Officials did not immediately have a description of a suspect, or any idea of a possible motive. Police did not immediately identify the man who was shot because he is a surviving victim of a crime.
