A cab driver was found shot and killed in his taxi behind a CVS in Rockland County, police said. The family of Luis Guaman told News 4 that he went to work for his shift as a FHV driver on the night of June 27. Around 8:00am the following morning someone spotted him parked behind the pharmacy in Spring Valley. He had been shot multiple times and was clinging to life. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital, family said.

Guaman’s wallet was not taken, so a motive had yet to be established as of July. The Ecuadorian immigrant worked two jobs to support his wife and four-year-old daughter. Police were tight-lipped about the crime and suspect, but urged anyone with info to contact the police.
