Starting April 5, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) began charging passengers in TLC-licensed taxis an increased airport access fee of $1.75 on every taxicab pick-up trip and every for-hire vehicle pick-up and drop-off trip at LaGuardia Airport and John F.
